copies sent to Accts. D.22 25th February, 1948

Please refer to your letter of 20th February enclosing two savingrams to Hong Kong with further reference to the recommendations of the Salaries Commission. I am making one or two further enquiries about the proposed salaries for the Principal Matron Grade I in the colony. As regards the administrative scale, I have no further comments to make. We are prepared to accept the basic salaries now proposed, as set forth in the third column of the enclosure to your letter. I have no other comments to make on your draft Savingram, and will try and let you have an answer by telephone on the telegram in the near future.

W.I.J. Wallace, Esq.,

Colonial Office.

Yours sincerely,

In Summer
